Begin by going to the third tab at the bottom of the application marked Create/Edit and enter in your passcode you created. For this tutorial we will be adding an alarm for the clean toilet task. Begin by swiping from right to left on the task you would like to add an alarm to and then click the alarm button. This view will show you all of the alarms you have scheduled for this task. Begin by selecting the plus (+) icon in the top right hand corner. You will then be able to set the text for the notification as well as the time and day(s) of the week the notification will fire on. You may select multiple days for the same time. When you are done click the save button. The on off switch is used to disable the alarm but keep it so you do not have to re create it later. You may create multiple alarms for the same task at different times or days.
A priority task is a task that will appear above all other tasks in the Current and All Tasks views. These lists are initially sorted alphabetical. Begin by going to the third tab at the bottom of the application marked Create/Edit and enter in your passcode you created. You may select one task from each category to be a priority task. When you have identified the task you would like to make priority, press and hold the task for 2 seconds until the green check mark appears to the right of the name of the task. Going back to the All Tasks view you will notice that your priority task will now be at the top of the list, while the rest are sorted alphabetically. To remove a task from being priority in its category press and hold the priority task until the green check mark disappears. If a priority task is already selected and you would like to change the priority task to be a different task press and hold a different task in the same category and the priority task will change.
If at any point you forget your passcode or would like to change your passcode open the Task Analysis app and go to the Create/Edit tab. From here is you have forgotten your passcode you can go to the settings application on your phone to find it. Hit the home button on your phone or iPad. From here look for the settings application. Its icon is grey with a gear icon. Once you open settings scroll all the way to the bottom of the list and look for the Task Analysis application preference bundle. Once you have opened the settings it will show you a list of the features you have allowed or disallowed the task analysis app to use on your device. At the bottom of this list you will see your 4 or 6 digit passcode for the Create/Edit tab. If instead you would like to change this passcode go back to the Task Analysis app and go to the Create/Edit tab. From here press and hold the clear button for 2 seconds. The screen will change slightly and you will be asked to enter in a new 4 or 6 digit passcode. Once you have entered in the new passcode the new passcode will be saved. You can go back to the settings app to see your changed passcode if needed.
This video will show you how to share your created task with another device. To begin open the Task Analysis app and go to the Create/Edit tab. Once you have entered in your passcode you will be brought to the edit tasks screen. To share a task click on the task you would like to share and you will be brought to the edit task data screen. From here to share a task click on the share task button. Before sharing a task make sure you are connected to a strong wifi signal indicated by the 3 wifi bars in the top left hand corner. When you click the share button you will be notified again to connect to a strong wifi. When you are ready to share a task click the yes button. Larger tasks may take longer to share. Please do not close the Task Analysis application or switch to another application during this time. The share button will show you the progress of sharing the task. When the task has shared successfully you will be notified. In the success message there will be a 6 digit code that is unique to that task. This code will allow you to download that task on another device. You may write it down if needed. After clicking the ok button you may view that 6 digit share code by clicking the info button next to the share button. On another device go to the Create/Edit tab. To download the task you just shared click the Download Task button. Make sure you are connected to a strong wifi network before continuing. Enter in the 6 digit share code you were given for this task. Click the download button. The download task button will show you the progress of the task being downloaded. Larger tasks may take longer to download. Once the task is downloaded you will be shown a success message. The task can now be used on the device.
